Red team topped their group, beating Newport and St Mary’s Clonmel while drawing with Nenagh CBS. In the semi-final the boys knocked out Newport in a very exciting penalty shootout. The final saw them come up against St Mary’s again. In a close contest, they lost by the only goal of the game. Well done to our boys who impressed all with their skill and sportsmanship.

The blue team beat St Mary’s Clonmel in their first group game. They played Newport and Nenagh CBS in their remaining games but lost out to stronger opposition. Again our boys put in a huge effort on the day and can be very proud of 3rd place in the group.

Close call on the day. Scoil Ailbhe came incredibly close to claiming the title for the first time in their history.
Well done boys and best of luck to St Mary’s CBS Clonmel in the Munsters in May.
