Credit Union Art Competition

Congratulations to Gabriel on achieving 2nd place in the 8 – 10 years category in the Thurles Credit Union Art Competition, and to Ms. O’Halloran, his teacher. Gabriel showed off his creative side, and was well deserving of his prize.  Well done to all the boys who entered the competition this year.

Arts Week 2015 – Art

What would an Arts Week be without an art session? Katie McCormack was our artist-in-residence, and she led the boys through a variety of workshops. These included stained glass designs and mono-printing. The boys had to learn a variety of skills, and enjoyed testing these out. Check out some of the work involved……………

The world of yoga, relaxation and meditation was opened to the boys by yoga practitioner, Marie Mills.  Marie showed the boys a variety of poses, including the warrior and downward dog.
