Congratulations to Gabriel on achieving 2nd place in the 8 – 10 years category in the Thurles Credit Union Art Competition, and to Ms. O’Halloran, his teacher. Gabriel showed off his creative side, and was well deserving of his prize. Well done to all the boys who entered the competition this year.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new school chaplain, Fr. Vincent Stapleton, to our school. We look forward to working with him in the years ahead. We thank Fr. Tom Dunne for his contribution to the school, and wish him well in his new post in Boherlahan.
On Friday, November 13th, we were presented with the Irish Tricolour and Proclamation of Independence by past pupil, Sgt. Kieran Kennedy, and Cpl. John Flynn. Hallowe’en always creates some excitement in schools. In Scoil Ailbhe, we used Hallowe’en to raise some money for Crumlin Childrens’ Hospital, as we currently have some students attending for treatment.
