“My school is special because we have fantastic teachers who make learning fun and interesting!”  Seán, pupil

Scoil Ailbhe covers more than the National Curriculum so that every child can find areas of personal strength. We encourage children to learn through active, enjoyable discovery. View our video shorts to see some class productions and life at Scoil Ailbhe!

We’ve held some wonderful drama productions and concerts. Many of our boys partake in local productions also. Visit the school at any time and you’ll see fantastic art from every class on the walls. Most of the children now are able to enjoy instrumental music lessons, and the programme has been fully established since 2012, with boys learning tin-whistle, violin and guitar, and participating in choral singing.

Other activities, during and after school, include choir, hurling leagues, quizzes, gardening, cooking and school newspaper.
In P.E., all children have dance, games and swimming lessons and children play football, hurling, uni-hoc, basketball, rounders and athletics.

Every year, the boys go on action-packed trips. Trips to the theatre, science exhibits, concerts and adventure centres all play a central part of life in our school.
