Our 5th and 6th class boys took part in the Jimmy Cleary memorial Football tournament today. The tournament was organised by Peake Villa and took place at their Grounds. Thanks to two of our past pupils Sean Wade and Kevin Quinn for organising. Teams from Rahaelty NS, Leugh NS, Gaelscoil Durlas and Scoil Ailbhe all took part. Scoil Ailbhe entered 3 teams with all three teams progressing to the latter stages. Eventually Scoil Ailbhe 2 narrowly edged out Scoil Ailbhe 1 in a great final. Captain Liam O Dochartaigh accepted the trophy from Peake Villaβs John Walshe on behalf of Scoil Ailbhe. Thanks once again to Peake Villa for a great day of soccer....
We are so proud of these four amazing boys who secured first place today in the U-11 Credit Union County Final Quiz in the Templemore Arms Hotel. What a lovely day today in Scoil Ailbhe as we celebrated Grandparents Day 2026.
We loved opening up our doors and out hearts to all of our grandparents and family members. We were delighted to meet all those who could visit our school. We also took time to think of those who couldn`t be here.
