PE

Physical Education is a vital part of life in an Irish primary school as it supports the holistic development of every child. Through PE, pupils develop fundamental movement skills, improve physical fitness, and build confidence in their own abilities. It also promotes teamwork, fair play and respect for others, which are central values of the Primary School Curriculum. Regular physical activity supports children’s physical and mental well-being, helps concentration in the classroom, and encourages the development of healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
